Looking for the perfect Halloween experience?

Do you have a penchant for the macabre? A morbid curiosity for the grim and gruesome? Then pull up a pew.

For one hour only, London’s Gruesome Stories Online will bring the darkened streets of London to your doorstep for a peek into the chilling history of one of the world’s greatest cities.

Starting at the world-famous London Bridge, we will intrepidly cross the River Thames and explore the grisly secrets of London’s North Bank, “stopping off” at key sites such as the Tower of London and the East End. Along the way, we’ll unearth stories of plague, execution, torture, and brutal crimes committed by London’s most notorious criminals, which we’ll bring to life with photos.

Don’t expect a run-of-the-mill Jack the Ripper experience. Though you’ll certainly hear about the sadistic character that shook Victorian-era London, we’ll introduce you to several Londoners whose twisted crimes will leave you shaken.

Throw yourself into the grim and the gory by guessing the end to stories, testing your trivia knowledge, and chatting with other guests. Dominic and Sophie LOVE talking about London’s Gruesome History, so make sure to ask them questions and share your own interesting tidbits!

This experience is great for teams, students or groups of friends. We’ve already hosted private experiences for team building days, digital student union events and parties with a gruesome twist.

“In one word: perfection. If you are looking for an entertaining evening full of interesting and not mainstream information put together in a fun way, that’s what you want. Dominic is an amazing host with whom the time flies like crazy. And on top of that, all his profit goes to charity, transparently. Could not recommend more.”

“Dominic was an entertaining, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a very charismatic host. He made me want to visit London again. Most of the content was new to me. Excellent value and I was pleased to hear that it was a charitable event as well.”

“Dominic’s knowledge, passion and storytelling was enthralling! I’d highly recommend this experience – it’s a morbid education and entertainment wrapped up in one. Dominic’s ability to host and interact on zoom was excellent, he was engaging and even included small references that were relevant to our team/company. Our team loved this private event, and all I have received is positive feedback from this. Thank you so much, Dominic!”

“It was a great experience to have taken part in this activity!!! I learnt a lot about London’s morbid history in a very entertaining way. Dominic made the experience pleasant, funny, interesting and entertaining. In addition, he was quite welcoming to all the participants and let everyone feel comfortable. Furthermore, one could notice his enthusiasm for history and his home town London. Moreover, he did ask some questions now and then in order to keep his audience on track. By showing maps and pictures, he made the activity more lively. If one has been to London once (or many times), it is a wonderful way to experience it again from your living room. 😉 Last, but not least: for non- native speakers of English: do not be afraid to take part in this activity! It will be a great experience as Dominic does speak clearly, slowly and uses the right intonation and pauses. So, everyone (who isn’t a native speaker of English) will not have any problems to follow him. Not only will one learn something about London’s morbid history, but one also will improve your English. I highly recommend this activity.”
