A Very Victorian Christmas in London
Do you wish it could be Christmas every day?
How did Christmas differ between the rich and the poor? How did the invention of the railways change Christmas? What would you originally find in a mince pie? We’ll discover this and more as we wander through the illuminated streets of London.
We’ll start at Blackfriars Bridge and learn more about the festive Frost Fayres of years gone by, before heading off to see key London landmarks such as St Paul’s Cathedral, the Royal Exchange and Leadenhall Market.
But this wouldn’t be a Remarkable Tours experience if we didn’t also take you off the beaten track! We’ll discover locations from Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” to really get you into the Victorian Christmas spirit (of Christmas Past, Present or Yet to Come!)
This is the perfect tour to experience the magic of the festive season, ideal to share with friends, family, neighbours and co-workers. Make it a December to remember!
This experience is fantastic for team building and corporate events. Book a private instance now or get in touch with your bespoke needs.
